An ugly all-out brawl that saw two players sent off, including Canadian captain Tyler Ardron, and another injured marred a poor spectacle for rugby in the driving rain of Tbilisi.

As expected, Argentina were the pace-setters after round one with a strong victory over the Americans. Canada, on the other hand, looked well off it after scraping by against Uruguay.

Wallabies Save Best For Last

The Pumas confounded once again by playing below their abilities, while the Wallabies rebounded with their best performance of the tournament. Decent game, but not at all what was expected.
