BC Rugby News is reporting that Canadian scrumhalf Sean White has broken his thumb, which means he’s out of the tournament and explains why there is no halfback cover on the bench for tonight’s game. With Phil Mack away on 7s duty in Australia and Jamie Mackenzie unavailable with school obligations, our options appear limited.

Bayside’s Cody Rockson was White’s understudy in the CRC and could be one alternative, and if White’s November tour is in jeopardy, which it would seem to be, James Bay’s Spencer Dalziel could be worth a look as well.
